Whole Eye Fillet Roast
A whole beef fillet is best cooked to medium rare and given lots of resting time. Preheat oven or BBQ to 180c then, if possible, sear the fillet on a pan, BBQ or skillet for about five mins. After that, bake for approximately 30 – 40 minutes with the thinner tail end of the fillet folded under the rest of the fillet to create an even shape.
Once cooked, cover in foil and rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
A whole, uncut, premium, grass fed, beef eye fillet. The best of the best! This fillet will come to you vacuum sealed with a shelf life of approximately 10 days and weigh a minimum of 1.8kg. Allow 200 - 300g of meat per adult.
